Let me start off by saying that I love my wife, but she really has left me no choice.  No she didn’t cheat on me, no she didn’t beat the kids, it’s worse.

She went on a diet.

(no problem with that – good luck honey)

Apparently (and those of you who are married (and men)) understand this.  When a woman diets it becomes a family effort.  I can handle eating whatever ‘crap’ you put in front of me.

BUT I have to draw the line at the diet drinks.  In my fridge there is sweet tea made with splenda, diet dr. pepper, and crystal lite.  NO REGULAR DR. PEPPER.

I’m a damn programmer – I drink like a 2 liter and a half a day when I’m working.  She is going to kill me – unless I divorce her first.

I’ll miss her.

  1. Problem with those diet drinks is they still provoke an insulin response because the body *thinks* there is sugar in there. She might as well go out and get the really good soft drinks that have cane sugar in them – no high fructose corn syrup. Same insulin response, but a rich flavor. They cost a bit more too.

    Hahaha, I feel your pain!
