When your getting started and funds are tight sometimes you need to spread things out a bit.  One way you can get more bang for each domain is to use subdomains.

Here is the process.

To create a subdomain go to yourdomain.com’s control panel.

Click on the subdomain option.

Define your subfolder name and folder name.  For our example we are going to use “subfolder”.

Now yourdomain.com has a new folder in it – it’s here:  yourdomain.com/subfolder

You access it through the web by going to subfolder.yourdomain.com

Try it – it will probably make some sense after you do it.
