While I’m glad that Black Hat Digest was listed I think there are a few more very excellent reads out there that need to be listed.

Tellinya — Here is an excellent post (with Code) that is just a prime example of what is in this guys blog. Remote Control Wordpress.  It’s one of the few blogs I pay attention to and go back and read through regularly.

Black Hat White Hat —   Another one of mine and there are some nice nuggets in there as well.  It’s not going to make the experienced black hat drool or anything – but if you swing towards the dark side at all there is enough in there to keep you busy.

For our learning coders out there Perk is a must ‘resource’.  His forum is packed with goodies and help.

Perks “CACHE”.

I spend about an hour a day keeping up in forums, blogs, etc… and between what Harry included and my little additions I’m hard pressed to point out any other quality ‘black hat’ blogs and resources.  He mentioned wickedfire, and most of the bloggers.  He did miss syndk8 though.  It’s got some user driven blogs (also a lot of spam) and a damn good forum filled with both good guys and idiots.

Getting Started And Using Your Brain When You Don’t Know Jack

When your new it’s hard to even know what the heck to ask – because you don’t know better.  Many people get started by buying crappy e-books, or get rich quick schemes.  Let’s try and save you a lot of money and a lot of aggravation.

Let’s start off by saying that it isn’t easy to make money on-line.  It’s not – and it shouldn’t be.  There are folks out there in the U.S. even working for 7 bucks an hour and busting their asses all day.  That’s because they don’t have an education, live in a bad area, or just have a rotten personality.

The good news about working on-line is that your education can be free (or almost free), it doesn’t matter if you live in timbuktu, and you can smell like rotten fish if you so choose.

The bad news?  You gotta work.  Your going to have to teach yourself new things.  Techie things that are probably harder than setting the clock on your VCR… sorry, accept it and move on.

Is there more good news?  Well yeah there really is.  I’m here to help you and not sell you a bunch of crappy e-books…. but your going to have to change how your thinking.  Go join other98percent.com (it’s free) and read up.  That’s really the starting point for anyone at any skill level – consider it a slow indoctrination into the right way of thinking.  Take your time – then come back here and soak up the rest of the things we have to say, teach, and show you.
