Black Hat – Traffic Android?

August 14th, 2008 Posted in Online Tools

Lot’s of cool stuff has popped up recently, I’m testing SENUKE (and I think I like it).  However, I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it for my white hat sites.  SENUKE I thinks will be considered my black hat bookmark tool (if I keep using it – time time time ya know)

So Eric has been playing with Traffic Android… and I think you should read what he has to say:
Traffic Android

Eric’s Review of Traffic Android

Eric says they are updating, they have a good programming team, and it’s here to stay – good things to look for with any tool that deals with a lot of third party sites (if you want it to keep working).

It’s easy to use – and it staggers your bookmarks so you aren’t shoving out 30000 links all at once.  The 13 day free trial is reason enough to go check it out.

That affiliate link up there is Eric’s as well – Enjoy for taking the time to test it out!

I’ve read Eric’s review of Traffic Android and am wondering whether the positive review emanates from actual use of the product or because of an affiliate pay-off. The reason I say this is that I’m on the fence in regard to the effectiveness of Traffic Android. In theory, the service is great: a slow feed of social bookmarks which avoid getting red-flagged by Google because they appear more natural and organic. However, I’ve used Traffic Android for a couple of months now and will only speak facts: I have yet to receive one single backlink from over a month of completed submissions. Maybe the sites they bookmark to are low on authority… I don’t know. What I do know is that I would have expected at least a trickle of backlink juice by now after a month’s use.

While I’m not a traffic android user I’ve found that building up those social profiles even just a little makes a HUGE difference.

    I talked about it here:

I have to agree with Erics review; I have recently been playing about with Traffic android and it truly is an amazing piece of software…now net based and with loads more features

I’ve been using traffic android for around a month now…

    My findings are

    1. Sometimes it just doesn’t load up. Website is down about 15% of the time i try to use it. Backlinks seem to be posting, hard to verify. I’ve had about 3 backlinks show up that i can confirm.

2.The guy who runs the show, Nathan, doesn’t respond to support requests. I’ve sent two messages with no reply.

I’m so so about the product. It seems to be working OK (although it doesn’t post to a few sites), however i lost my long term DIGG account just after i started using it randomly with the program.

At the end of the day, unless the product service and reliability continues, i’m jumping ship. I refuse to pay someone who cannot make time to answer my messages.

I watched the video on the site and thought TA is pretty weak. I gave it a try since it is only $1. After using it for a few days, I unsubscribed. Any one saying TA as amazing is most likely a newbie marketer. Traffic Andriod is a joke for mass site builders. It is just a basic piece of bookmarking application for newbie users. It just doesn’t meet the needs of an advanced marketer. Not forgetting, their support sucks to the core. Seen so many newbie bloggers promoting this program just because of its monthly commission. The trend now is so obvious with these bloggers, bash lower priced products and promote a program that has a higher commission especially those with monthly fees. Give me a break man.

    Don,

Eric’s recommendation I’m pretty sure has nada to do with the commissons…. just not how he rolls. He is pretty white hat though – so it might be a little basic for anyone who does mass anything.

I still haven’t used traffic android – so can’t say one way or the other. I do use bookmarking demon (and have talked about how I do that in several posts here on the blog).

Don’t think I would pay monthly for traffic android either – didn’t realize it was a monthly thing till you just said so… some people will (and like it) though – so I suppose it depends on your goals.
