So the other day my kid comes to me and says she wants me to get her “zoo tycoon”.  It’s an older game and I could have bought it for just a few bucks somewhere – no big deal.  However I came across a “subscription” site that was really cool.  Basically you download and play as many games as they offer as often as you want as long as you want.

My kids are loving it – the same subscription is running games on 3 computers.

My wife is playing puzzle games, my daughter is playing zoo and animal games, my sons are shooting it up.

I just wish I’d set this up for them for Christmas instead of 2 weeks before   It even lets you set up sub accounts with parental controls.

Now it’s not a perfect service, there are minor glitches that require you to restart your computer occasionally.  But it’s cheaper than buying games that they play for just a few hours and ditch.  It’s let my kids play a lot of games I would never have bought for them.
