Many many years ago I released a reciprocal linking script.  It was passed all over the net, and can probably be downloaded by anyone with just a little effort.  However, it’s VERY old now and there are a number of vulnerabilities in the script.

There are numerous services and more powerful scripts out there today that handle reciprocal linking in more powerful ways.  Hint:  Look for linking services that don’t do one way or even three way links.

I’m putting this post out there because there is no way of contacting all the folks who ever downloaded the script – in fact the mailing list I did maintain has an 80 percent “dead address” rate.  That doesn’t count the hundreds or thousands of folks out there that downloaded from various other places.
