When I started throwing domains up left and right I quickly got confused.  What hosts do I have available, how much are they, what domains are finished, what needs to be promoted, etc…

I started off with an excel spreadsheet, but it didn’t last long.

Keeping organized is a big part of NSS 2′s Black Hat Command Center, but it also does something else – it helps you manage your linking.

I put a little code on all my sites out there, and I can link on individual pages easily.  No more sitewide links – and since the Search Engines discount sitewide links it helps my efforts pay off a lot better.

Do we only need one command center? What if we have several niches? Should we have a separate command center for each niche?

I only use one for about 100 sites. It doesn’t make sense to have a bunch of different installs all over the place.

Unless you are putting it on a shared host then you might need a few to handle the volume.
