New Theme patched up.

July 7th, 2009 | 3 Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I’m so sad – the poor teenager with the tape over her mouth’s PSD is corrupted — so I couldn’t use her for the new logo. I tried to incorporate what I had before into the new themes (ok half a dozen of them) but it just didn’t look right.

So we are going a little minimalist until I have a few weeks to knock my WP developer around to get what I want :)

Who knows – maybe I’ll figure out what’s wrong with our normal theme and why it won’t work with 2.8.

Grrr… 2.8 wordpress comment issue.

Not quite sure what’s going on here – have to dig in a little deeper, but my assistant just upgraded BHD to 2.8.  My fault – I’d had him going through older blogs and upgrading them – just didn’t have him ignore BHD.
It seems though that all my posts have comments disabled – and I’m showing comments from the wrong posts on all of them.

I think I’m one of the few left!

I have this handy dandy firefox add on called wiz rss that I keep all my rss bookmarks in.  It let’s me scroll through real fast and see who’s made a new post, scan em real fast and take a peek if I want.

Of course my rss bookmarks are filled with programming blogs, other webmasters, etc..  Mostly techie stuff.  I’ve also got a folder for other “black hat” or worthy affiliate marketing bloggers (sorry no affiliate guru’s in there).  I just popped through it real fast and 90 percent of them haven’t made a post in weeks.

I’ve made like a dozen this month – and I don’t spend a whole lot of time in here.

So who else do you guys/gals ‘read’?  I don’t spend as much time in forums as I should – and I certainly aren’t clicking on people’s sigs or anything.  Just miss having a few blogs with something worth reading everynow and then.
