Opps – Either Ed can’t count or he’s decided to just stop breaking things down into days. It seems that he’s made 40 or so posts since he made his last “day”.  That doesn’t mean that there isn’t good info here  – it really means that the first 18 days covers the basics and you should have a dang good idea what to do at this point.

I’ve still got some “BIG” goodies planned including scripts, tools, guides, and tutorials since I’ve really enjoyed this process.  Some of it’s ONLY going out in the newsletter though so make sure you are signed up.

Some guidelines, rules, and things your going to need to understand to follow along:

1.) A membership in NSS 2 (black hat side) is a great idea. Not only are some of the things we are using in NSS 2, but I’ll also be providing some tools and services for the additional things we use. I’m also going to make you join the other98percent.com site so you can communicate with me in the forum directly, read others progress reports, etc…  Certainly not required but I do this blog for the members there mostly.  1000′s of readers are not member there – so no worries if you aren’t.

2.) Server space, domains, and hosting. (duh?) You ‘CAN’ get away with shared hosting so this is something that can be affordable.  The important thing is to separate the layers of your network – how you do that is up to you.

3.) The ability to think for yourself while you follow along. I’m sure as hell not going to hand you all my niches and teach you to compete with me, so chances are your going to have to come up with your own ideas for topics. Sound fair?

4.) Thick skin. I’m going to abuse you. Use bad grammar. Yell at you. Call you out. Etc… Just deal with it.

5. So I can motivate (abuse) you – to get all the help you need and the kick in the pants daily – just register for the newsletter. I’ll remind you what you have to do. Tell you what to read. Send you where you need to go, etc.. You can ignore parts you already know. (It’s not like I can “see” you.)

6.) This is probably the most important thing. I’m giving you ideas, and potential way to do things. Even if I have something on “day 7 – doesn’t mean you have to do it. If you don’t do that – just do freaking something. The important part is you build your pyramids, and push links and traffic upwards.  Don’t worry if you don’t get the pyramid thing yet. You will.

7.) This is a work in progress – It will never be done.  Accept it.  Also accept that if you don’t do anything – nothing will change.
