Black Hat User Agents

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

So this morning I was adding some new features to WordPress Monthly and I needed a bunch of user agents to abuse a certain article directory. After digging I found a list of thousands: Opera/7.54u1 (Windows 98; U) [de] Opera/7.54u1 (Windows 98; U) [en] Opera/7.54u1 (Windows ME; U) [en] Opera/7.54u1 (Windows NT 4.0; U) [en] [...]

Women Rise Up!

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

Glowleaf just published a little article on his blog talking about women and how they are capable of pretty much kicking our tails at affiliate marketing. (see here) It got me thinking though.  It’s 100 percent true.  I bought this scrapbooking domain (an info one at that) a few years ago when she got interested [...]

Your neighbor has the flu – watch out!

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

I just love lot’s of data.  Except for the pouring over it and figuring it out part.  I like it even more when someone else does all that work. I don’t like it when it’s Google (they have to much data about me and you both). For a change Google is going to help you [...]

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

I really like most of the sitepoint books that I already own.  Sitepoint is doing something pretty cool right now though and you can get their css book free (in pdf format). No strings except to follow them on twitter or give them an e-mail address: http://twitaway.aws.sitepoint.com/ #af-form-1394620488 .af-body .af-textWrap{width:98%;display:block;float:none;} #af-form-1394620488 .af-body .privacyPolicy{color:#000000;font-size:12px;font-family:Verdana, sans-serif;} #af-form-1394620488 [...]

Yahoo Goes Black Hat

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

What do you call a website that has no unique content and is just scraped material from other sources and ads? (other than Google) Beyond “GOOGLE” apparently Yahoo is moving beyond just showing search results.  Yahoo has something called “GLUE” out now.  Of course it’s in Beta.  But here is a taste:  Yahoo Glue (new [...]

Wholesale?

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

I’ve got an idea for a project and sadly it’s going to mean I have to stock some actual “stuff” to make it work.  I’ve been looking for the right niche so I could break out of the affiliate side of things for some time. Anyway – my search for a reliable wholesaler for the [...]

No joke – 5 to 10 minutes to a complete Ebay site… even if you are a newbie at things.  You don’t really need any technical knowledge either. [...]
